Despite the immediate and obvious public health threat, the MTA refuses to suspend train service at an active fuel spill, as they fail to locate its source for three weeks.
When a fuel spill broke out in a tunnel of NYC’s L Train, the government can’t find its source for three weeks. Despite obvious evidence to the contrary, the government insists the tunnel is safe, as hundreds of thousands of citizens are exposed to an underground toxic mess.
